Anneli Liivamägi-Hitrov

My main field of study is psychology, and I have a Master of Science (MSc) degree in psychology. In addition, I am a qualified family therapist, a 7th level family mediator, and an 8th level supervisor with quality standards. I have also completed training as an EFT couples therapist and EMDR trauma therapist. I am also a supervised therapist in schema therapy (basic training completed, but client work is supervised). In addition, I have completed various continuing education courses related to psychotherapy, such as art therapy, parts of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, parts of analytical psychotherapy, etc., in order to have as broad a “toolbox” as possible for working with clients. A couple of decades ago, I also graduated from the Private School of Professional Psychology, which provided thorough preparation specifically for psychological counseling work.

On a daily basis, I work as a psychologist, family (systemic) or couples therapist (EFT), trauma therapist, psychological counselor, but also as a supervisor and trainer. I have been working as a psychologist for over 25 years, and have been working with families and couples for a few years less. I also work with children.

In my work as a psychologist, I use various methods and techniques based on my training and the needs of my clients.

I prefer to work in Estonian, but I can also work in English if absolutely necessary.
